M6 Group chooses Keyrus Digital to revamp its corporate website
On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, M6 Group entrusted the Keyrus Group's Digital Agency with a project to revamp its corporate website. Keyrus thus assisted M6 Group in designing, creating, and launching an inspirational, responsive design internet site.
Keyrus was selected by M6 Group in the framework of a call for tender proposals to redesign its corporate internet site.
A website that reflects a modern and diversified brand
M6 Group, a multimedia group created in 1987, has a variety of activities: broadcasting, content production and acquisition, digital, advertising, e-Commerce... So as to reinforce its brand image on the market and give its activities a showcase measuring up to its ambitions, M6 Group opted for a fully reworked website with optimized navigation. "We wanted a corporate site that reflected the power of our diversified, audiovisual group, known for valuing innovation and close relationships with its different audiences. The Group's 30th anniversary provided the ideal context for this revamp", explains Adélaïde Stella, Corporate Communication Manager at M6 Group and project manager for the revamping of the site.
Following a call for tenders that pitted three agencies against each other, M6 Group selected Keyrus for its recognized digital expertise and understanding of the business issues and the challenges surrounding the company's brand image.
The choice of a Design Thinking design method and project execution in "agile" mode
Faced with the constraint of very short time limits for carrying out the work to go live with the new site, Keyrus proposed a set of services covering all areas of input for the project. "The tender specifications to be followed were strict, notably given the time frame for the site's launch, and this drove us to "challenge" this call for tenders with a creative proposal that responded to M6 Group's needs as closely as possible" confides Sylvain Jouffret, Project Manager at the Keyrus Group's Digital Agency, who was in charge of the project.
In line with M6 Group's desire to work using the agile method and with a Design Thinking-type approach, Keyrus put in place weekly design and co-creation workshops so as to move forward on several of the project's key aspects: the internet site's objectives, its overall structure, page templates… These workshops were also an opportunity to create "personas" so as to accurately identify the profiles, expectations, and behaviors of the different types of visitor to the site. Using these standard profiles, it was possible to precisely design the overall structure of the site. The user journeys were refined according to how the visitors came to be consulting the site and what they expected from it, the objective being to place the internet user at the heart of the setup.
An optimized user experience supported by enhanced navigation and visual content
"The services offered by Keyrus met our expectations, as much in terms of addressing the technical and site development aspects, as of understanding our visual landscape." declares Anne-Sophie Aubrée, Corporate Communication Manager at M6 Group, and project manager for the revamping of the site. The site gives pride of place to images, incorporating them on the homepage in a scrolling banner of HD visuals, through interactive mapping setting out all the Group's activities, and even by the real-time posting of stock market prices. Video is also very present, notably through the incorporation of the 6play video player. Finally, with a view to the website being consulted across multiple devices, it has been developed in responsive design and therefore provides ergonomic and simplified navigation whatever the device being used.
